The Price Of Leadership

Five good insights on how to become a better leader. I want to highlight the first one: “You deserve the team you get.” The choice of words may connote being stuck with the team you receive. Actually the author recommends to assume 100% accountability for your leadership team. As a leader you can choose to train, reassign, separate and replace your team members, but not to complain about them… This was actually the same recommendation I received from a peer when I first became a general manager two decades ago. Very wise piece of advice.\r\n\r\nhttps://www.forbes.com/sites/mikemaddock/2018/01/13/the-price-of-leadership/#4ead03abaa58
