How to Develop or Update Your Personal Mission Statement

As announced in my July newsletter, in August we will launch LifePlan, a smartphone and tablet app initially available for iPhones and iPads.\r\n\r\nIn my blog entries every Monday in July, I will provide additional details on how LifePlan can improve your life results.\r\n\r\nIn this article, I want to outline a few of the features included in LifePlan to help you develop or update your personal mission statement:\r\n\r\n1. What are the top five core values you want to live by and communicate through your actions? Are you clear on how to rank them in importance? And are you aware of what the sources of those values are? If you are not clear on this last point, you run the risk of unknowingly adopting the values portrayed by sources that are not aligned with the type of life you want to live.\r\n\r\n2. If you were to fast-forward your life to your funeral, who would say your eulogy? What will be said about you? Who will attend?\r\n\r\n3. What are the key roles in your life, ranked from most to least important? And what goals do you want to assign to each role, for the long- and short-term?\r\n\r\nNext Monday we will expand on how LifePlan can provide a system to proactively allocate the bulk of your time to achieving your goals in your personal mission statement.\r\n\r\nUse this link to be added to the waiting list for LifePlan.\r\n\r\nPercy M.
